Furnace visit Safety mechanical performance components, were cleaned, examined and maintained. Gas pressure testing, and combustion analysis were completed at this visit. Water pad was changed at this visit.System is operating normally at this time.
Arrived at the customers house, everything is functioning as it should other then the kitchen faucet and exterior hose bib. Customer is not interested in repairing the hose bib at this time. But would like to repair kitchen faucet. I will also be looking for a water dispenser kitchen mounted that works with their current system
Upon arrival customer stated the furnace/heating system is working properly. • Cleaned flame sensor • Cleaned inducer trap • Adjusted and/or tightened circuit board wires as well as all other electrical connections • Verified furnace blower speed operation • Verified gas valve operation • Completed combustion analysis testing - ok • Replaced air filter Customer stated his humidifier was spraying water as the inlet hose from solenoid valve to pad was coming off. Reattached the hose but upon testing the humidifier is not starting. Completed the humidifier checkout, received power to solenoid but no water. Solenoid is not opening to allow water through. Provided quote for customer Provided customer with nushield information.
Performed furnace tune up, changed filter, humidifier pad was upside down fixed humidifier pad, cleaned sensitive components. Performed combustion analysis, found system to have a compromised heat exchanger. Found over 2000 ppm in exhaust during combustion test. Due to safety concerns about furnace shut system off at gas cock. Furnace is from 06 making it over 20 years old. Due to age and condition recommend replacement. Quoted repair.
